These Were The Best Thrillers Of July 2020

As July draws to a close, I thought I’d share with you readers some of my favorite releases from this month. Let’s explore these titles!

⁃ Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power

Imagine if Riley Sager and the author of The Roanoke Girls wrote a book together => this book would be the result. Expect a creepy mystery, and a disturbing final reveal!

In Burn Our Bodies Down, a teenage girl stumbles upon a picture that points her home, to family she never knew existed. When she gets, she starts making the most jaw-dropping discoveries…

⁃ His & Hers by Alice Feeney

This book basically broke the record for MOST twists; after every few chapters, there’s a twist that makes you gasp. Feeney’s to provide twisty psychological suspense is absolutely incomparable.

A detective finds himself a suspect in his own murder investigation, and a woman must return home after the murder of her childhood friend. What the heck is going in? The final reveal is just so clever!

– He Started It by Samantha Downing

I’m still unsure about this one; it definitely won’t be for everyone but I admit – that ending caught me by surprise!

In He Started It, three siblings recreate an old road trip – that their grandfather took them on when they were kids – in order to claim their inheritance once they scatter his ashes at the end of the trip: those are his rules, but…

There’s something sinister hiding underneath the surface, and we never know what that is until the final, unpredictable, explosive ending that will leave you wanting for more!

What about you, fellow readers? What were your favorite releases from this month?
